Mint Walk’s Future?
Well about a month ago there was another meeting to discuss the development of a new skatepark at Mint Walk. There was a pretty poor turn out and basically the meeting pointless as no one could agree on anything!
Yesterday Felix and myself went down to the mini only to find it covered in oil, so it looks like once again someone has tried to burn it down!
Sick! Well at least it proves we need a concrete park… Felix and myself have been thinking of ideas for the new park and I’ve modelled a few in 3D which you can check out below! There not perfect as I’ve only got the free version of the software and I don’t really know how to use it, but it gives you an idea. Most of them are probably way over budget, but it’s a start… so please give me your feedback and ideas if you have any, so we can go to the next meeting (when ever it is) with some really good plans that everyone likes and get this thing moving!

Recently…
Well on Friday it was the annual Mint Walk skate jam, which (as apposed to the original ones) had a really poor turn out… props to Felix, Ed, Alex, Rhys, Phil and James for turning up and repping the ramp and the development of the hopefully new concrete park. Alex won the mini ramp comp with Ed coming second and Felix taking 3rd, hope you enjoy your JD sports vouchers!! Felix also bagged up the Best trick prize with a footplant on the back wall and back d to rock fakie, here’s some camera phone snaps from the day…
This weekend has been pretty hectic, managed to visit 6 Skateparks over the two days and also get a fair bit of footage (which you may see one day!). Saturday we did the usual with Skaterham and then a brief stop at Reigate skatepark (where we played more football than skating). Today (Sunday) we ended up on a mini tour of some of the skateparks of West Sussex, we started at the disappointing Shoreham skatepark, then headed to Cuckfield skatepark which was pretty cool. Some of the local said that Henfield park was good so we went there next, and they wern’t wrong it’s sick and we all got some footage there. We then stopped of for a very quick skate at Crawley on the way back, all in all pretty sick weekend. Here’s a few phone pics from today…

Mint Walk Breeze up #2
Sorry I ain’t posted anything in a while, I just finished my last ever exam yesterday so hopefully I be posting some stuff soon. (However the end of uni celebrations, world cup and Glastonbury might delay me!)
